Save-the-dates and registeries
We are investigating save-the-date cards for Rob’s New Jersey friends and family. We discovered that October 25th is an OSU home game (boooooo!), so peeps gotta book their hotel rooms EARLY.
I found some really hilarious postcards at Barnes & Noble that we are thinking of using, but Rob wants to go check out legit ones at a paper store in the Short North. We’re going to do some research this weekend.
I’m also trying to convince Rob that we should go do some gift registering this weekend. He is less than enthusiastic about this.

I designed our own “save the date” cards; we saved a heap by printing them ourselves. The place in the short north costs a lot of dough! Just a suggestion : )

Don’t bother with the gift registry — I’m already shopping for his-and-hers codpieces. Word UP!

seems like we mostly got cash/checks — not as many gifts from registry.. and don’t be disappointed if you get gifts that aren’t from the registry too.

Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get stuff from the registry only from our Columbus friends. Rob’s family will most likely do cash, and my family will most likely give us weird, non-registered items, like paintings of naked babies in washtubs.

Lol. And if we decide you don’t want something you can usually take it back and get gift cards; we did that at Target & Macy’s.
